Oil is the same way. Tim generously provided a blueprint, but results among all of us will vary. I ve been doing this for 7 1/2 years, but I'm only 9 months testing with oil, and still learning every time out.
If your cars are faster using dust, stay with it. But I suggest patience and continued testing with oil.
Once you crack the code becoming comfortable with your process and seeing speed, you will level up your ranks and go deeper in the rounds at races.

Some of the post was actually taken word for word from the Derbytalk forum. I can remember almost choking on my breakfast burrito reading the article the morning it was posted. I copied it and made it into an audio file, I listened to it all that week. I honestly don't remember it saying to use dry silicone on the everything, only on the axles. The post talked about Ceramic car wax on the hubs and chassis where the hub meets the chassis, jigaloo(no longer available in the US, get it from Canada)or some type of dry silicone on the axles ONLY, and then add your oil of choice. I'm adding a picture of the original Derby Talk thread that pertains to Bluelines post.
