The Totem Warz

Ignore the start date. This event is just kicking off and it will be an ongoing event through out the year and beyond. If you have cars ready to ship do so. If you need time to put cars together you have it. This event will run much like you see in an outlaws race from other channels. 

Introducing the Totem Warz.
The Totem Warz is a mail-in and ongoing event.
You can watch the Totem Driver's Qualifying broadcast and get a good look at the new Obsidian Mountain Raceway layout and how certain cars are reacting on it on my channel Gryphonsoul Diecast Motorsports.

If you're familiar with outlaw racing, this is a bit like that but with an Island twist. Here at the New Obsidian Mountain Raceway, we do things a little different than on the mainland.

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 65g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 2 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• No Buses or fantasy cars (animal, creature, foods or beverages).

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Wednesday, 5/1/2024. Racing is scheduled for Wednesday, 5/8/2024. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Race format and scoring

How it works:
Challenging the Totem:
There are 2 parts to the Totem challenge.
Part 1 is the qualifying race.
Part 2 is the challenge.

How you qualify:
Compete in a Head-to-Head,
Best out of 3 race vs 1 of the Totem Guardians and win.
Think of the Guardians as the Gatekeepers.

If the challenger wins they can then challenge the Totem Drivers.
These are 1 and Done races.
Starting with the 10th place Totem Driver, the challenger races their way up the Totem until they are defeated.
The challenger always draws the outside start lane vs the Totem drivers.
The challenger will hold the last position won.

This will be an ongoing event.

Penalties/DNF

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for competition.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins.
