pretty good response....
'65 to '71 Crysler products looks to be the leader by a bunch... ........modded over stock also...
we seem to be able to deal with any bye situation with the help of carl's brackets, even if we get an odd # of entries ...

HOW MANY RACERS OUT THERE WANT TO ENTER ? _ _ _ a large field restricts the # of entries per team, so we need to know...
.
if not overwhelming, maybe each racer sends [3] cars.. [2] modded or stock, [their choice] and [1] of the other ? Y_- N_
.
our group has grown, are FTE I's too hard to get [$] to be fair for all of us ? should we ban them this series ? Y_- N_
.
most of these Cryslarz have plastic bases... should we go with that ? Y_- N_
.
plastic bases and large windows on these cars will keep the weight down... how about 45 GRAMS ? Y_- N_ other _ _ G's
.
ENTRY #'S and the series BOSS will decide single or double elims...

still need a BOSS...

What are the requirements for hosting? being the Boss? etc?

What are the requirements for being the Boss?

You got me on this one! I'm guessing you'd have to know how to get ahold of the E Street Band!

Thanks for the info,.... Is my 1/64th dragtracks acceptable? Is video taping the races a requirement?

I know lots of questions, but I'd like to not mess this up if I do host, etc

I have been to Jersy, but do not know how to contact the E-Street band.....lol

the BOSS is the guy who is series co-ordinator... johnnyl was the BOSS of the sportsman series.. nervehammer fte is BOSS of the lemans challenge...the "crysler crisis" needs a big boss man !
video is not required.... it's a bonus

Is video taping the races a requirement?

Not a requirement but it sure is nice, huh?
Most of us (me included) aren't able to do this. Everyone has a little something different to contribute.

I wanna play!
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
How bout, 3 cars of choice, 1 must be different
No FTE wheels. Run what they got for stock. Allow the FTE for Super Stock
Plastic base
45 grams sounds good
What about trucks? I say nay.
Now as for stock, can you drill out rivits or must they stay intact? meaning stock as on card w/ maybe some graphite. Or no lube?

I like 2oz classes. Hopefully we can attract more racers from other forums with a 'standard' weight.
If running 57g (2oz), bases don't really matter if the car is modified.
I think there should be a two car limit in a traveling series.
IMO FTE wheels don't help much on the heavier cars.

Now as for stock, can you drill out rivits or must they stay intact? meaning stock as on card w/ maybe some graphite. Or no lube?

If all of the cars race together it doesn't really matter.
