Tooned Race
Hello everyone! Though I'm new to the hobby, I've seen lots of amazing variety in types of racing and castings. I don't know if this has been done in the past (probably has) but I'd really like to see a Tooned/Bling version of castings only event. I have grown to appreciate some of these castings and even prefer their look to the real world car.
What are your thoughts and/or your favorite Tooned castings? Here are a few of my favorite (I may have a weakness to certain colors too):

Modified Tooned Chevelles have done well all over the place. It became quite popular as a modded car shortly after doing well in KotM last year.
Didn't realize those were so popular - I too(n) have a custom in the works of the Chevelle!
The Chevelle seems to be pretty popular as a racer, and as others have mentioned, it does quite well on the track. I've (almost) always enjoyed the Tooned editions of the cars, because they are so goofy and silly (I.e., the Bug and the Twin Mill). There were also the Croozers, the Drop Tops, and the HardNoze series of 'tooned vehicles, so we could really put together a helluva lineup for a race.
Someone tag Josh Paufler over at Rust Belt Diecast Racing - if anyone would do this, it would be him.
I have several of those x-ray/tooned cars and they are always fast. Metal chassis, man...fast. However, I'm generally not a fan of the Tooned aesthetic. Outside of a few castings, I see them more as donor cars for large wheels and chassis than anything...but to each his own.
Yet a Tooned theme event would be a good one and probably make for some tight racing.
I like the Tooned models as well. Racing any kind of car is a good time and an all "Tooned" tournament would be interesting. A modified Tooned Chevelle did well at the We Race Diecast "King Of The 621".
