I don't believe there is an 'official' rules page for this event. But reading through an earlier thread I found that we are to mod 2 JL's that weight 45 grams or less. Correct?
Tim and Cameron from Connecticut mailed their Top Sportsman cars out yesterday to California. Cant wait to see all the Top Sportsman cars when Jim posts the Pics. Remember guys mail them out! Make sure to put numbers on them also.
Looking through my Johnny Lightning collection, I found I have a lot of cool JLs, but they all have narrow bases so that their wheels fit inside the car to make them look realistic. A narrow wheel track doesn't usually make for a fast racer. I was hoping I could simply throw on some fast 'Hot Wheel' wheels, but maybe it won't be that easy.
Two more Top Sportsman cars were mailed today from Colorado. I am hoping we get 16 cars to race but we will still run this race no matter what is mailed in for a total. We are running single elimination but if other guys would like to run 2 out of 3 that is fine with me. LETS RACE!
Sweet!

Yes 45 grams or less!
It has to be a Johnny Lightning body, but can have a Hot Wheels base and/or Hot Wheels wheels.
+ 45 grams or less.
Not trying to re-confuse everybody, here's one of the threads:

I have a few small number stickers here also.
Should we be entering 2 cars? To keep the brackets even? Is this what people are doing?
Are the races single elimination? I'll have time to run best 2 of 3.

Grind out those wheel wells!

These should be there on time.
