Track Creator Snap Track
Has anyone used these? Do you have an opion on them? Review I read said it had a higher wall than the regular orange track. Not too sure about the snap in portion and it's backward compatibility. The kits I have seen says it has a 'couple' of adapters, but have not seen a separate bag of spares. One review mentioned that it was a good deal to get some corners, but without a way to connect them up to existing track, I am not so sure.
Anyone have experience with them?
Prime days has a sale on some of this stuff, but don't know if I want to pull the trigger for 30% off or not.

I've not used them, but it looks legit, probably a bit more firm then the standard orange track. maybe pick one up and see how it does. key here is no holes in the track like other hot wheels track sets.
I saw those but wasn't sure how they would connect to the old style track so never bought any.
So I decided during the Prime sale to add a couple of the booster kits with this Track Creator track. I can use it in my play zone. Supposedly it comes with two adapters. By looking at the box online, it looks like it has one female side track builder (regular) with a male side track creator on the other. Then the other adaptern is the opposite with a male side track builder and a female side track creator.
Which if I understand this, I can add to an existing layout with an end on each start and then the finish of it; but there is no way to split it up in 2 lanes as there are no more 'adapters'. So the hunt will be on to see if Mattel/Hot Wheels is going to sell a package of these adapters for those who use the new tracks. I think I read somewhere that one of the dollar stores were also carrying this new package of like 3' of track with this track creator style; I wonder if there is an adapter in their package also?

very interesting different behaviors. both orange vs new have pros and cons
I am figuring out how to show those. making a 2nd track currently,
and the track review will have a Goat Hill update, too
at this point though, the question is can HW make an f'kg corner, or,
does the aftermarket have to solve that?
at this point, 25' for $17 seems a good deal

- Just a guess, solid corners take up a lot of space within a box on the retail shelves, could this be part of the problem? LOL, haven't bought any track sets as an adult so I'm out of the loop (pun intended) — Chris_Hood
- Well Chris you’re partially right as cost is king in any product. But the point here I believe is that we are not the target market. I’m sure the performance envelope for this new track is super suitable for your average three year-old to 13-year-old. They are not trying to push the performance of these cars to the absolute edge. — AbbyNormal
