  • Car check-in and inspection, and master control. There's a deceiving amount of setup and work that goes into a "simple" diecast race. — redlinederby

  • The public starts to arrive and check-in. The Kid's Challenge was popular and the winner got a very snazzy trophy. — redlinederby

  • More people and more racing. Qualifying races whittled things down to the Top 64 of each class. — redlinederby

  • The other side of the shop had eating tables and a live feed of the action on TV. Hot Wheels vendors had good traffic and we even put the kids to work. — redlinederby

  • The Final Four of the modified division was all Redline Derby entries. Some handmade trophies and the true sign of a good day of racing. — redlinederby

These are great pictures! Looks like there was a pretty good turn-out for the event too. Definitely would love to try and get to the next one.

  • It was a decent turnout. We were hoping for more people but for once the weather in Ohio was nice so I like to think that took its toll on us. It wasn't freezing and the sun was out, hard to beat that in February. — redlinederby

I can't even describe how much fun that looks like and I wish I was close enough to join.  Great job everyone involved, thanks for hosting and allowing us in Bruno and for repping Redline!  We came home with the hardware for sure but I bet if there is a 2nd annual race there will be way more competition.   That's exciting!  And in all honesty...the Chrome Bullet dang near built itself.  I was shocked when it ripped down my test track the first time.  The Way2Fast...not so much.  I actually had an issue with one of the wheels getting bound up in the gluing process and after breaking it loose and doing some work it spun free and got the ok to be mailed out...the night before I mailed it yeesh.  Hope this is a common event and that we can continue our support!!!!
