So, I just got mu 1st NEW laptop in 13 years Got it so i could edit videos instead of using my phone. Have been using InShot on my phone and like it, but I can't seem to fine it with out a bunch of ads with download links for other crap. Any recommendations for editing software?

Davinci Resolve is excellent and free plus plenty of tutorials on YT.

I use open shot video editor

it's free, open sourced, and seems to work well.

I use CapCut and it seems to do ok. it has some ad's on the first screen but once your into the editing its very clean

I use Adobe Premiere Pro, And it lets me do a whole lot of stuff that is more complicated.
