Smitty, I've got a question: Do all you need to host an event is a good track, like a Dragtracks track?

in my opinion you have raced with us enough to warrant you hosting a heet...
if it were me I would not step up as the first or the finals host...
lots of locating shipping containers, bubble wrap, then the race "team's name" translated to "user ID" translated to a name and address...

OK. I was just wondering because one of these days I think it would be fun to be a host in one of the mail-in series. Only if my folks were comfortable with it though, of course.

So is this just an idea for now, or is this race actually going to happen

THATS WHY WE POST THE IDEAS...RECIEVE INPUT... THEN WE ASK FOR INTERESTED RACERS TO SIGN ON...
STILL WAITING FOR INPUT...

There's a lot of stuff going on this time of year. Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

In that case, I'll throw in some ideas:

1. Wheels: All wheel styles except for: OH5, FTE, FTE 2, High Speed and Off Road wheels styles.
2. No lubes allowed
3. 2 cars per team
4. Must use stock chassis and body

geez, stock body n' base ?... I cut the roof header off from a "'32 ford delivery", heated the posts with a candle, tilted them forward... then cut off the visor and a 1/16" of "mid mill's" roof... J.B.quicked them together to make a '31 model A delivery, moved the "way 2 fast's" rear axle back to match the delivery's wheel wells...Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
Also cut the tailgate, grill and hood off a "'29 ford pick-up", slid the rear axle of a "way 2 fast" back to match the truck's rear wheel well, Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
not saying you have to, only that it's what I like to do...
that's why I seldom race with H W Cs, they require matched body and base...

I hated having to use stock body and base for that race also, but I guess I don't have to worry now because I got kicked off that site about a month ago or so for being on there underage But the reason I say stock body and base for this one, is because if you want to make it easier for the new guys like me, then what if they didn't want to use a different body, and what if let's say you did, and what if the aerodynamics or something from the other body gave your car an advantage

the pups can run stock bodies...as far as advantage... the model A is like racing bricks...the '32 was an aerodynamic version of the model A...that is racing...

Smitty, I like that 29 pick up...had something similar in the works....good mix.
