Thanks for including orange track widths. Had a couple pretty wide entrants lately.....

I like this idea Smitty. If the series actually takes place, I'll have to find me some Way-2-Fasts.

I will keep looking out for one as well...

Yup....I,m in.

I'm in!
One suggestion: allow plenty of time for racers to find/buy a Way2Fast or two, like JDC did for the Redline race.

posted ... "date be determined by the Commish"...he can set the schedule...
series is wide open for input...
also there may be another series take place before the W2FB ? ...some series ideas have been floated... ,
I don't want to step on any toes...

yes or no on ftes

FTEs do have five spokes and they are called FTEs.

I didn't know Stephen Colbert was a diecast racing fan

5 SPOKES... THEY ARE STOCK ON MOST WAY 2 FAST...
THAT GIVES OUR RACER'S OFFSPRING A SHOT AT ENTERING A DRILLED RIVET SERIES...
THEY ALSO ONLY NEED TO DRILL THE REAR RIVET, [BODY] TO QUALIFY... GO DRAG-PUPS GO !

Perfect race for guys like me who can't modify a car worth a darn

Smitty, I've got a question: Do all you need to host an event is a good track, like a Dragtracks track?

in my opinion you have raced with us enough to warrant you hosting a heet...
if it were me I would not step up as the first or the finals host...
lots of locating shipping containers, bubble wrap, then the race "team's name" translated to "user ID" translated to a name and address...

OK. I was just wondering because one of these days I think it would be fun to be a host in one of the mail-in series. Only if my folks were comfortable with it though, of course.

OH BOY, AFTER HEET #1 OF THE RUMBLE, IT APPEARS THE BOYS FROM MICHIGAN ARE GONNA HAVE SOME SERIOUS TEST RIDES ..
.COUPLE OF KILLER WAY 2 FAST... OUCH !

So is this just an idea for now, or is this race actually going to happen

THATS WHY WE POST THE IDEAS...RECIEVE INPUT... THEN WE ASK FOR INTERESTED RACERS TO SIGN ON...
STILL WAITING FOR INPUT...

There's a lot of stuff going on this time of year. Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

In that case, I'll throw in some ideas:

1. Wheels: All wheel styles except for: OH5, FTE, FTE 2, High Speed and Off Road wheels styles.
2. No lubes allowed
3. 2 cars per team
4. Must use stock chassis and body

geez, stock body n' base ?... I cut the roof header off from a "'32 ford delivery", heated the posts with a candle, tilted them forward... then cut off the visor and a 1/16" of "mid mill's" roof... J.B.quicked them together to make a '31 model A delivery, moved the "way 2 fast's" rear axle back to match the delivery's wheel wells...Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
Also cut the tailgate, grill and hood off a "'29 ford pick-up", slid the rear axle of a "way 2 fast" back to match the truck's rear wheel well, Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
not saying you have to, only that it's what I like to do...
that's why I seldom race with H W Cs, they require matched body and base...

I hated having to use stock body and base for that race also, but I guess I don't have to worry now because I got kicked off that site about a month ago or so for being on there underage But the reason I say stock body and base for this one, is because if you want to make it easier for the new guys like me, then what if they didn't want to use a different body, and what if let's say you did, and what if the aerodynamics or something from the other body gave your car an advantage

the pups can run stock bodies...as far as advantage... the model A is like racing bricks...the '32 was an aerodynamic version of the model A...that is racing...

Smitty, I like that 29 pick up...had something similar in the works....good mix.

cold ... 9* this AM, slippers on, hacksaw in hand, I went out and cut the roof off of a "t totaler... gonna be a cap for the model A pick up... Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
I have a handful of WAY 2 FAST bodies if anyone needs 'em...

I have a handful of WAY 2 FAST bodies if anyone needs 'em...

Smitty, you got the chassis too, or just the bodies?

The only W2F I have left has FTE wheels...............sidelines for me.

I CAN FIND A W2F FOR YOU K & O....
STROLLER, CHECK THE PASS FRONT ON THAT W 2 F... IF IT IS BOOGERED, [JDC 442 AND I BOTH HAVE HAD THAT] REMOVE THE AXLES FOR ANOTHER RACE AND TOSS IN SOME 5 SPOKES...

Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Okay I am in with two W2F cars one with FTEs and one w/o.......is this reasonable?.......

Nothing new here, but I'm confused!
If this is a "Way 2 Fast Blast" wouldn't you need to have a Way 2 Fast body on your car, with maybe a different chassis?
Sorta' like having a Chevelle race and allowing any body on your car.

no sir... you start with a way 2 fast and do what ever you want, within the rules...

if you are considering using a different body on the way 2 fast base, and are going to buy one, I would choose the 1st edition... [the 3/8" tall pin just aft of the rear axle is missing] that pin can be a pain when trying to get the rear of the new body to sit flat... no problem if you remove the axles as you can saw it off and not hurt the wheels...

just spit balling from an engineering standpoint and mean no offence....
but if you want to do something like this, try cutting from the front to back, and up from the bottom, this helps in making the front and rear body halves longer...
this lets you use more of the rear quarter, by your front body's cut being closer to the wheel well...
and if needed, the rear body half can use part of the lower cab to make the two bodies long enough...
.....mikie likes the cut 'em up attitude !
...go delta 6 go !...

Lots of great work and ideals in this thread - will there be a beauty contest tie in?

Yeah, stretching & grafting is an art form that I've not even tried yet. I've chopped tops with good results but I didn't even plan on grafting the front & back together. But now that I think I can visualize what you're talking about it would have been way cooler looking and easy to do.

Sorry about that Smitty, I was going to take some pictures and post them on here, but I had other things going and I forgot. I'll see if I can get them on here tomorrow.

Started on AAA car but I'm waiting to post pics.....

Just got my cars shipped for the Fords race and I wanted to check if we had a tentative date for W2F's yet?

mid march start...

HE'S GOT A SIX-CAR CASE!!!!! I have one of those! That's one of the most sacred pieces of die-cast equipment I own!
I might enter this. I already demolished my favorite Way-2-Fast (which was kind of a waste and dissappointment, especially with that car), and I have others, so I might be able to stick some wheels on one or something. Now, you're saying that rivets have to be drilled--but do the wheels necessarily have to be replaced? Because you also mentioned that many W2Fs come with 5-spokes as it is.
Just now saw this post--I don't know what thread it's under, KandO sent it to me--and by the way, I like Fred's rides!

need not replace the wheels... read carefully... you need drill only [the rear] rivet...

Do you have a time machine Milton?

Thanks, yes the dump bed does tip. I loaded it with "scrap metal"

I tried cutting off the sides of the pictures and re-uploaded them on here, but it still cut off the right side of the picture. Maybe I can take some better pictures when I get the other one built.

Resize you your pics so that the horizontal dimension is 600 pixels and that should fix it as long as the vertical is 600 or less a good art program like photoshop should automatically keep the correct proportions....Better yet if either dimension is over 600 pixels lower it to 600 and that should fix it....If not drop back 10 yards and punt.

My 2 Way 2 Fast are ready except for final details.....

I'm going to assemble mine tomorrow, then they're off to Maine!

You're building two cars ...right?

Two cars! I thought it was two engines

you guts time to scrounge up another ! ... go milt go...

So using the chassis for one build and the body for another is not acceptable?

You can use whatever body you want as long as you build it on a Way 2 Fast Chassis.

I dont see a "chassis base" requirement in the currently posted rules.

Then again I dont remember when it changed over to being a two car team either.

Are the rules set or are they going to keep changing up to March 23rd

body here, base there is fine... you really only need run an engine to qualify...

Just an engine, you say....that is an intriguing avenue to follow

cheaper too... I have a box full of 'em.... I know every racer doesn't...

I'm In and I will host if you're still looking for tracks.

With the mistakes I made it took me a total of 6 A100's and some advice from another racer to get it just right. Both rivet posts are screwed to the base and some remnants of the scrap A100's are jb welded to the inside of the bed for additional support. It rolls true but after all this work its prob still a dud. Oh well, little more body work and off to paint.

Because of all my mistakes everyone who still has any MB Dodge A100's they are officially that much more rare, after having personally destroyed 6 of them for this build!!

Nice work delta6! Can't wait to see it painted

looks fantastic... delta rocks !

dang, I just checked the weight. Sorry, looks like she won't be making the race @ 64.5g. There's just no place to trim 8g from. Back to the drawing board!

hmmm,
the headers and the rear push bar could disappear...
OOPS... those five parts only weigh 6.1 Grams, plus the hacksaw dust...[had them handy],
you may also have to drill some "whistle holes" through the base... don't paint it ! go delta go !

I really like that set up! I think I'm gonna make one on a bench top maybe 8 - 10 feet long. I'm getting to old to be doing all this bending down at the finish line lol.

Also gotta get started on my cars.

Sweet rig! I just wanted to double check to find out if we were able to use FTE's for this race or just standard 5 spokes?

I do like the looks of Rat Bomb....can a wheel swap be performed? If not... save that gem for another series. Sweet ride

Not a good idea. Some racers might already have their entries finished, and won't want to tear them apart.

Unfortunately, I haven't taught myself to print my own water slide decals. I bought these a long time ago in sheets and I don't know if the guy is still around, but I thought they'd pull one's eyes away from the jointed section. Tons of clear coat and a little color sanding and it'll be ready.

ok RLD racers ... we need an ALTERED ASSAULT SERIES heet #1 host for march 23rd... our racers need to know where to send them... about a month away ! ????

altered assault series needs a heet #1 host... about a month away... short, long, whatever you have...

Race hosts, I can tell you...there is nothing better than hosting the first round. Your mailbox is filled with various race cars, each day is like a new gift to open. You get the first look at all the racers...I've said it before, hosting is a great way to learn how other racers prepare their cars, build techniques, wheel choice and treatment...it's educational if nothing else.

if you are concerned about doing a good job, GOOD!!! That means you care about this. WE WANT YOU TO HOST AND RACE WITH US. and the best way to get good at something is to DO IT!

Way-2-Drab. Mostly because of the olive green paint and all I did was chop the top. It does have a new interior though with a popsicle stick bed. Weighs in at 40 gs.

Congrates TE! Lots of nice builds. Stroller what was the track set up this time?

This is a track with a 6 ft ramp raised 4 ft that empties onto a 18 ft flat. All Blu Track....There was only one wreck when my 4 engine car wrecked at the finish line. I don't know what caused it. I suspect car design. There is going to be another race tomorrow with the ramp only raised 2 ft. Low n Slow....

Way to go Smitty!

Hey thanks for the race update!

thanks for the chance to excel in the slow lane... nice double header stroller !

Man...I've been out of town all weekend...just got back and unpacked...I have some catch up reading to do.

Edit.

Good race coverage Stroller. Good showing in the first race, but that dude in Maine handed me my walking papers in todays event. Looking forward to the rest of the series

Edit 2... Thanks for the car repair, I needed the fuel cell!

Congrats to Smitty on race 2 and to all the racers for building some serious customs. I spent some time going back and looking over the photos...real craftsmanship.

I'll start working on the points...did we decide how points are awarded?

I THINK WE SETTLED ON 2 POINTS FOR 1ST... 1 POINT FOR 2ND... 1 POINT PER WIN, EVEN "WIN TO GET IN" WINNERS...

Nice commentary Stroller -love it

Very dominant Traction! I've got to get back into the race scene to keep you honest!

Thanks JDC, but this series is just getting started...not even close to being decided. It will be good to have you back in the Gasser series

Messed up posting my brackets. Forgot to size them..

Well it was fun hosting AAA here in Spokane. I hope everyone had fun. Running the Fast Track then the Low and Slow made for some real surprises. Yet I still got knocked out early in both races... For the second race the cat didn't even bother coming outside to watch...... I keep telling myself it was the rain that kept him inside.. Cars going out tomorrow.....priority.

nice pix roller ! ... love that racers on glass...
... I like the double header format.... any other hosts that can swing it, please do... it is great for the race fans at home...
with 25 entries and single elimination the races should move along pretty well...
[long / short]... [tall / shallow] ... [normal / inclined runout]... racing rocks !

Hats off to both Traction Event and Sloppy Jaloppies on the first race in the Altered Assault series! We cant wait to be able to have these great looking race cars on our track on Sunday April 13th at the Lincoln Johnny Lightning Race Club. We hosted the Fords, Fords, Fords race and it was alot of fun seeing the different cars racing together. We would like to be able to also host the Gassers, Gassers, Gassers race that starts on April 27th! Not sure if it will work but Dadvball could bring them to our meeting as he is one of the Race Committee members at the LJLRC. Our May meeting/races was pushed up a day which would be Saturday May 10th to recognize all our Moms for Mothers Day. Saying that I am not sure if that will work for everyone elses schedule. Let me know! Make sure to LIKE our facebook page to follow all our racing @ www.facebook.com/ljlrc also LIKE our newest page on facebook that is strictly geared to our racing called (LJLRC Racing). ship luck...
I went to print out the 23 car brackets to set my heet's pairings...
well ... the page I copied had #ed seedings for the cars 1 to 23... higher #s are random and had to win to get in...
1 &4 in the top and 2 &3 in the bottom...1 through 8 are all in round 2...cool !
...
for my ALTERED ASSAULT heet ;
1. I will take the point totals from the heet before mine, place the racers in the order of that heet's points,
2. then by total series points,
3. then alphabetically [team name]...
so even if you haven't rocked the "caz-bar" yet, finishing well in the heet before mine will be to your advantage...

Then Milton Fox's # 10 lost to Traction Event's #5 car. Both runs by less that a fender. This is starting to look like a really good race.

# 19 of Fish Tail Racing goes to round 2 beating the Nightstalker #12 by a fender again in 2. the track is really even today!! I'm lovin it, better if I had won that one. Oh well, Next!

Fishtail #19 eliminates the New Comer Hole Shot lizzotte #3 in 2 runs by a fender in each.
Milton Fox #11 sends the crowd favorite Nightstalker #13 back to the Garage in 2 rounds so close that if the Stawker didn't wash the car he may have had a better chance.

Sorry Johnny, cars are packed and off to MA, Tracking #9505 5213 0501 4097 0001 07 should arrive Wed 4/9.

Not a problem! I will get some cool pictures of the cars on the starting line on Sunday.

Cars arrived today safe & sound! I must say these are some of the wildest creations I have seen in person in the short time I have been hosting. Absolutely awesome cars, all of them! Pictures really don't do them justice.
Anyway, I have just completed filling out the brackets for both both weekend races. I'm hoping to run them here Friday night. On Sunday we'll be running them as the first race so that our club members and guests will get to see some really cool modified cars go head to head. I expect there will be plenty of oooohs and aaahs when we release the "Altered Assault".
Stay tuned.

Loking foward to racing you guys this weekend and hope to have the same luck this race.
I wish you guys good luck!

Loking foward to racing you guys this weekend and hope to have the same luck this race.
I wish you guys good luck!

Good luck to you too! Although I'm not sure you need it, considering how well you have been doing

Maybe this tournament needs a prize for best looking or most innovative or coolest..... Just an idea.

Sorry for the late start. I moved my track to the porch for better lighting and more room. I took pics of bracket and the win to get in round races but have had nothing but problems trying to get them loaded. The Images.im site keeps saying no image was downloaded. I tried photobucket, but can't get the images there either. I'm afraid there won't be any pics, sorry.

Anyway, the track length is 16 feet. Starting gate is at 44". First section is 48" at about a 45 degree angle, going into another 48" at about a 20 degree angle, finally into the flat 8 ft. straight. The finish gate is the Hotwheels electronic 6 lane, and I'm using the two center lanes.

Win-to-get-in round. Have to win two consecutive races.
#7 Sloppy vs. K&O
#7 Sloppy's takes it in two, by 1-1/2 and by 1-1/4 lengths.

#21 Delta 6 vs #3 Holeshot
#3 Holeshot wins in two, by 1-1/2 and then by 2 lengths.

#19 Fishtail vs #5 Traction Event
#19 Fishtail, but it takes 16 races to get the back-to-back wins. Most races were won by a fender with the biggest gap being a half car length. Started to think it would never end.

#18 Rally Case vs #10 Milton Fox
#18 Rally Case takes it in five. Close racing again. 4 out of the 5 were by a half car length & one by a nose.

#4 Fast Fred vs #8 Dadvball
#4 Fast Fred get the victory in two, by 3/4 and 1/2 car lengths.

#14 Stroller vs #12 Nightstalker
So far, the biggest and closest battle of the night. I thought I would have to send out for pizza. Going with the have to win 2 in a row, this thing went 30 races! Largest margin of victory was 3/4 car length. Nine by a nose with the rest being 1/4 to 1/2 car lengths.
#24 Stroller wins races 29 and 30 for the victory.
(nothing personal, but I hope there aren't any more like this lol)

#23 Holeshot vs #9 Dadvball.
#9 Dadvball takes it in two, by 1 and then 2 car lengths.

Next up, round two.

Round 2

#11 Milton Fox vs #13 Nightstalker
#13 Stalker takes it in three, winning by 1/2 car length.

#15 Stroller vs #7 Sloppy
#7 Sloppy wins in two, by 1 and by 1/2.

#26 Sloppy vs #3 Holeshot
Another battle. Biggest margin of victory was a half car length. 20 races. (you guys are killing me lol)
#26 Sloppy finally gets the win.

#19 Fishtail vs. #17 K & O Racing
#19 wins in two, by 4 and then 3 car lengths.

#6 Traction Event vs #18 Rally Case
#6 Traction Event moves on in two, winning by 1 and then 1/2 car length.

#4 Fast Fred vs #22 Delta 6
#4 Fast Fred scores two wins, 1/2 car and then by a nose.

#20 Fishtail vs #14 Stroller
#20 Fishtail takes it in two, barely winning both by a wheel.

#9 Dadvball vs #24 Fast Fred
This one goes 11 races before #9 Dadvball finally takes two, winning by 1/4 and 1/2 car lengths.

Moving on to round three.

Round 3

#7 Sloppy vs #13 Nightstalker
This one goes 11 back and forth (typical of the night) races, anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 car lengths, before #7 Sloppy finally pulls away for the win.

#26 Sloppy vs #19 Fishtail
$19 Fishtail takes the last 2 of the five races, winning by a nose and then a fender.

#6 Traction Event vs #4 Fast Fred
#6 Traction Event wasted little time in Scoobydooing FF by 1-1/2 and then 1 car lengths.

#20 Fishtail vs #9 Dadvball
Another 11 run race, no margin bigger than a half car length. #20 Fishtail swims to victory lane.
Actually, I think he was flipping saltwater in Tin Louie's eyes & he just couldn't see where he was going.

End of round 3.

Round 4

#7 Sloppy vs #19 Fishtail
Another back and forth battle, this one going 13 races before the #19 Fishtail escapes upstream to the finish line.

#6 Traction Event vs. #20 Fishtail
#6 Traction Event reels in the Fish by taking the last two races in a four race set.

So, the battle continues.

Finals

Just so I wouldn't forget, I ran the 3rd/4th place race first.

#7 Sloppy vs #20 Fishtail
This one also goes 11 races with #7 Sloppy finally grabbing the daily double for the win.

Dadvball Dragway Championship Race
#19 Fishtail vs #6 Traction Event.
Another epic race, lasting 17 races. Almost all the margins of victory were by a half car length.
#6 Traction Event finally squeaked out the victory winning the last two races by 3/4 and then 1/4 car lengths.

Congrats #6 Traction Event on the Victory!

Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Congrats also to the runnerups as well as everyone that participated. These were some of the closest races I've seen and the sweetest looking cars. Thanks for letting me host. I am sorry that I wasn't able to get the pics to load. I will try again later to at least get the finished bracket up.

1st Place - #6 Traction Event
2nd Place - #19 Fishtail
3rd Place - #7 Sloppy Jalopy
4th Place - #20 Fishtail

Final bracket
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Sunday morning we'll be running part II at the LJLRC. Should be starting at about 10am. Jeremy will be posting pics of the cars and hopefully some video on FB if anyone is interested.

super race hostmanship dadvbal...
congrats to TE... againnnnnnnnnnn...
I count 177 passes, too much like work... not fair to the host...
.
maybe we ought to run two outa 3... example ; having the lowest car # start in lane 1...
each host flips a coin to determine which lane gets the lowest #s... swap that every round...
we ought to get pre-set brackets from a random pairings site...then no host has to feel responsible for who gets the fast lane...
the series coordinator picks 5 of the random brackets, then assigns a bracket sheet to each heet...
so no host is left trying not to show favoritism when pairing the cars or starting lanes...
... if the bracket says #6 vs. #23, low # in lane 2, then so be it...
just like real racing....

Eneey Meeny Miney works for me.
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
AND Great race coverage too!

I dont know the actually details for real racing, but thought that process was what we where already doing?

Are the real racing protocols the same everywhere?

If we need a simple solution just put the car numbers in a hat and pair them down the bracket as they are drawn(?)

Congratulations Traction Event on a well earned race. Very nice descriptive, and fun race coverage by DadvBall one of the best, but most amazing was I actually won a race!!! Yay Stroller!

Thanks guys. Yes, there was a lot of passes to find winners, but it was fun 'cause I just love racing these little toys cars (or in this case, works of art) down the track. I decided on the two consecutive wins before I started the race and then I realized one lane was a little faster than the other. The tricky part was having to win in the slower lane and trying to keep it fair. I think most of us keep track of how much each winning car wins by, like a bumper/nose/fender/1/2 car length. What do you think about setting a limit on passes, say 10 passes? That way each car runs in both lanes 5 times. If it's still tie, the car that won by the bigger margin in his 5 wins would be the winner. Just a thought.
Maybe I should have just left my track in the basement. The lanes seemed a little more even there.

To set the brackets, I took the lower numbered car from each racer and drew numbers. Then I made sure nobody was racing against somebody they already raced in the first round at the other tracks. Because of the number of entrees there would have to be 2 people running a second car to fill the first round. So I drew one, Holeshot, and then just put my second car in. For the most part I reversed the order for Sunday's racing, starting with the higher number car. It won't be a problem there because it will be one and done.

Great coverage and play by play...sounds like you had some marathon racing on your hands. But a job well done sticking it out till someone won two in a row...the way it's be done since we all started.

Fishtail knocked my 55 out early...and pounded through the field to a well earned 2nd and 2nd in the points...That caddy must have a 502 Big Block!!! This kid is finding his stride...

Looking forward to running the big track at LJLRC.

Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Gentlemen, we had a blast running these at the LJLRC meeting today and we thank you for letting us participate. People were ooohing and aaahing over these cars, having never seen anything like them or even knowing there was racing across the country like this. We very likely may be picking up three new racers who are very interested. They all customize and love to race and will be checking out the site.
Smitty, I will get these boxed up and try to get to the PO tomorrow. If not they will go on Tuesday.

Don't forget to check out the LJLRC Racing page on Facebook to see pics of the cars in the starting gate. Have a great night all!

Wow! Thanks for sheparding the cars and racing today Bill. Great to get positive exposure for RLD.

Different track, different results! Congrats to Smitty on a well earned win. Sounds like some very close racing today, that is fantastic.

Please post the final bracket so I can sort out points....

good stuff dadvbal... and with a racing hangover to boot ! ... thank you... sleep well...

Thanks guys! TE, I'll post a pic tomorrow after work. I need to pick up new batteries for the camera. They stopped working after I took Smitty's car's picture.

Congrats Smitty!

Love that Smitty and Fast Fred were in the finals.
Just can't believe the Sloppy car didn't let Fred's bird sneak by for the win

Congrates to all of this weekends winners!

I think I sorted the points correctly, I'll double check against Dadvball's bracket tonight...

Smitty's making a charge and headed to his home track...

Smitty, I'll be hitting the post office tomorrow.

MA. TO ME. should get here in plenty of time... a big thanks to dadvbal and his johnnies for hosting...

I liked the stroller and dadvbal double headers and will do the same here...fri. / sat. or sat. / sun. depends on postal delivery...
the 23 car printable brackets came with placements 1 to 23... cool as 1 and 2 won't meet till the later rounds...
it also sets up our racers yet to win with the chance to grab a win in the first round ...

...I used the finish placement from the "jersey shore showdown" to place the first heet's cars...
then I used the overall points totals, I added the 3 vs. 4 runoff ;

This is great Smitty! This method of bracket placement/ranking seems to be most appropriate. I think I'll set my brackets using this method during my next hosting event.

Congrats K&O on the weekend sweep! And congrats to TE for the overall win! Great job Smitty on the racing and the pics. Awesome job on the cars by everyone. The pics throughout were great, but these little cars were amazing to see in person.

Lookin' forward to the Gasser series!

Quick question for Delta 6. Where did you get your flame decals used on the stretched D100?

I had short chat with Smitty, and cleaned up a few errors on the points sheet. It should be all set now, even if it does not match the bracket.

See you all at Columbia Raceway Park....California bound Gasser racers!!!

I have a bad feeling that K&Os weight for his dump trunk fell out before it got here and was somewhere in the packaging. I did not see it, but maybe things would have been a lot different if I had. One never knows...

Don't worry about it. I kept thinking how I probably would have won a lot more if that hadn't happened also, but there was nothing you or I could have done about it. I wonder if everlings seen it in the back when it showed up at his place.

I know what ya mean... maybe next time we'll align the rear tire, and just let "TWIGGY" weigh in at 41. grams !

Speaking of everlings. I had been checking in with him every couple of weeks on his health and progress, but he hasnt responded since he dropped out of this series. Anyone else heard from him?
