Website photo uploading issues, updated
UPDATE 7/17: If you recently tried to upload photos and just got the fuzzy car, you will need to upload those photos again. You may delete the fuzzy car photos if you want. Use the "Photo album" link under your account.
But you shouldn't have to worry about deleting old photos or posts or anything like that. Keeping archive stuff is what we want :)
I got a few reports about trouble uploading photos. I'm investigating the issue but not sure yet what's at the root of the problem. Be aware that if you try to upload a photo that it may not work and you'll get the fuzzy car instead.
I'll post updates as I learn more. Sorry for the trouble.

Just another example of how popular this site has become! One of the reasons I go back and delete some of my posts and pics every now and then! Just cleaning up after myself! Thanks for letting us know...

I have removed many, many files from other sites I manage that were no longer needed, so there should be more room here on RLD for uploaded photos. We'll see how long it lasts us.

Use the Photo album link under your account to see all the photos you've uploaded and remove the broken ones (or any others you no longer want)
Sorry again for the trouble and inconvenience. Honestly, housecleaning on my web server is *way* overdue so there's a silver lining to some of this that will help everyone.
Seems there is a limit on the number of files my web host allows...news to me! I guess after 15 years they've had enough, ha!
I'll have to do some housecleaning and hopefully that will free up some space. I'd like to avoid having to change or limit the policy for uploading photos but it might get to that sooner than later :(
