Weird Wheels!
Everyone has seen them: those cars that literally defy all description, and oftentimes leave you scratching your head and wondering "What the hell were they thinking??" Let's make a showcase of some of your favorite oddball cars!
To start things off, here is one of the weirdest Hot Wheels cars I have found to date: the 2006 Quad Rod. This particular car was made only from 2006-2009. What makes this car especially interesting is that it is a rhomboid car: one slender wheel in the front, one meaty tire in the back, and two beefy tires to either side. The name was recycled in 2017 for a quad cycle. (I have the silver one in the second and third pictures, and it rolls surprisingly well for a thrift store find.)

And while I get fantasy cars are more aimed at 5 year olds, how long has it been since Jell-O molds were common? Kid at a store thought I was making them up since Jell-O comes in cups now. Jell-O mold car keeps the 50's through the 70's alive! Need to look at one now. See if it can be converted to the one from the old magazine ad with olives, ham chunks, and cigar buttons or whatever were in them.
Weird. I had never seen that until now.
