Just wanted to share the wild trip my entry for the "Lots of Trouble Usually Serious" went on...all thanks to the USPS. You will have to start from the bottom and read up.

Yep exactly. I have not had this happen yet on a red line mailing but I have purchased more than a few cars over eBay in the past year. There's a thing at the post office called ZIP Code merging. It's where your package is perfectly aligned with another packaged, overlay part of the address, and the optical system kind of chooses the best match out of the jumbled numbers in the ZIP Code. One of my packages disappeared for a few days on the tracking system and then showed up in the Philippines.
and similar to this package. I had another one make about 30 trips between Portland and our suburb mail office. Not sure how long that would've gone on, but I called our local folks and they straightened it out.

Wow, impressive! And yet we wonder why cars don't arrive as quickly as we think they should, lol
Wow, that car is going to need a complete overhaul after that! That's like 4,000,000 scale miles! I've had a car bounce back and forth from Kentucky and West Virginia 5 times on its way to Florida. Also had one that started out a hour from my house go to Puerto Rico. On the bright side, I have always gotten them.
I've had that happen before with cars I sell. Package went to Honolulu then bounced around a couple more states before arriving in New Jersey, it took two weeks. It alway seems to get messed up in NY.
