What year?

Trying to figure out if the Camaro Z28 is allowed into our muscle car class. That class is for cars from the 60s and 70s.

They refer to one as a 1978 Camaro Z28
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Another as a 1981 Camaro Z28
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

But what year do the "normal" Camaro Z28s fall under 1978, 1981, or another year? I really can't tell the difference between 1978 and 1981 versions.

The 'real' Camaros were basically the same car from '77-'81. '82 was a major design change and the '74-'76 had metal bumpers front and rear (the '74 had a flat rear window instead of the wrap around style of the others).
