WorpeX.Net January Initiation Tournament

This tournament was not for points and was mostly just to see how fast these things really are against each other! Tournament was a bit too large to do what TLD does for his tournaments so i'll just write it up. Here are the cars though (most of them anyway. Does not include the Arachnorod or Fastback. FTE2 Impala not in tournament.):

Winner is in green and the rating is behind it! I'm using Redline Derby's rating scale of A through D. I set the tournament up super weird, so forgive me if it only sort of makes sense. Double Elimination until the Grand Finals, which is Single.

January Initiation Event

GRAND FINALS

Semi-Finals:
Ferrari FF vs -B-
-C-

3rd Place Match:
Ferrari FF vs -C-

FINAL!
-D-

FORD GT LM WINS!

The match between the Ford and Toyota could go on forever. They were so insanely close races that it came down to which ever car made a mistake first! The first time the Truck had it, but the finals saw the Ford take the win!

Thanks for posting. I'm surprised that the Ford GT LM did so well.
Just so happens that I have an orange one in my "under 35g" case!

I've had 2 of the Orange ones and they're quite terrible. : / This white one is zippy, but I've raced it in another tournament a few weeks ago (which I didn't post the results for and probably wont. Was sort of just a test tournament.) and it ended up losing first round to a Chevy Flashsider while the Toyota Truck lost first round also to a First Edition Way 2 Fast. haha. So neither of these two cars are necessarily top cars by any means, but far from slow either!

Thanks for the response! That Yur So Fast is terrible! My yellow one is pretty good but this one isn't even worth the space it takes up on my table!

Me two honestly. For the longest time I was quite baffled at how the Redline Derby's GT LM was so good. The orange GT LM's are just terrible. I have no idea why. I had gotten the white one as a gift for christmas and was stunned when I put it down the track. haha.

I wonder if they were made in different places or something changed between the making of the two colors. It seems almost unanimously that people say the Silver FTE Ferrari Italia 458's are faster than the blue 458 FTE's as well. Can't be the paint.

They're two distinct versions of each other. The white one was made in 2009 with PR5's and the Orange one is 2011 and has black OH5's. I think the wheel difference is what does it... but I can't say for sure!
