"Your First Car" die cast that is
This is the one that started it all. I've had it now for 52 years!
Still have most my original cars, the ones that survived anyway.
The first "Hot Wheels" 67 Camaro was originally red with a black top. Redone last year.

I only have one of my first Hot Wheels still on the shelf, the Airport Rescue fire truck, the rest are long gone or buried where my sandbox used to sit in my parent's backyard. I'm not really sure what the *first* Hot Wheels I got was, I just remember a lot of my early cars.

MOst of my "first owner cars" are beat to crap. Even took a hammer to them. Then years later I tried to paint them like models. I dont know how old I was. You can see that some of them are red lines. I know I had a coffe can full of them but I traded them off for toys that are long gone. It seems the Matchbox cars stayed in the case and didn't get as much play time.
