You're Never Too Old...
Hey there Preacher! Yeah, I read through your thread, but like some of the others here. Keeping it at table top level works better me! I am looking for another set though. So I can add another middle section piece to create a down hill 1/8 scale mile set up. Even Running just at the 8 foot length - to tune and test with - I have seen many come from behind wins and even some double passes at times!
There must be some other racers around here. The thrift stores and antique shops around here are always empty of hot wheels.
It's a hit a miss sort of thing...but its always exciting when you score!

Tried to prove I am younger than I am again this weekend!. Moved the Super 6 Lane Raceway down onto the floor last night and set it up for the scale 1/4 mile configuration. After a couple of hundred squats and waist bends to reach down and load the starting ramp I was a little achy this morning, but another afternoon of testing and tuning has made me feel better!

I'm 40, been racing since my Granddad got me started in 1979. He also got my brother in-law (43) involved before even marrying my sister. My Granddad has been racing since Hot Wheels came out in the 60's. He was starting to not enjoy it until I built a 4 lane track last year. Now he is enjoying as much now as ever.
Very cool Dailjr.....have your grandpa join up and have even more fun.....Stroller
