Because it was asked for earlier, here are the measurements for the 4-lane starting gate from 3DBotMaker.

However, please be aware the dimensions given are for my starting gate. Measurements may be different for other 4-lane gates because the vendor is able to change dimensions because he makes them on-demand. Although I would expect the numbers to be very close...either way, better than nothing.

You can thank Smitty, aka fordman, in advance for the incredibly fair starts that will occur in April. He sent his custom built "Sloppy Starter" to the Pacific NW this weekend, and it's incredible! Will make for great starts AND great footage. Check out any video's of 72_Chevy_C10 to get a sense of what we'll be using.

That is really something, my hat is off to you Smitty!! There is a lot of engineering in that starter for sure!!!!! I find it amazing how much R&D goes into racing these HW's.

I'm still debating if I should use my childhood Lotus Esprit for this race. It wasn't my favorite car to race but it always stood out from my collection along with a B Engineering Edonis that had similar tampos.
That version of the Lotus with FTEs did fairly well in the Fantasy League. Shooting 50/50 ain't bad...ain't great, but that was stock. With some mods I'm sure it would be even better...
