A Series Idea: Popcorn and a Show
( Popcorn and a Show )
Was wondering what kind of interest might be out there for a series that would be TV-Movie oriented.
Cars used would be anything from the movies, TV series, a few cartoons.... speed racer, batman, etc.
When I was thinking about this I looked on the net and there are literally 100's of cars to choose from, so thought I would toss it out there and see what kind of thoughts or interest there was in it.

Cool Idea, but everyone should have to ask to run cars. Like if you asked first to run the Batmobile then nobody after you can run that one.....Just a thought.
SPIDERMAN!!!!! I call Spiderman! Most likely Spidermobile from MW II, but that'll depend on whether he's necessary around here. If he is, does Clue count as a set of cartoon characters?
Ok are the cars supposed to be cars seen in films or movies or can you do like a Green Lantern Car or Superman they didn't really have cars.
So far these are just ideas we are all bouncing around and discussing on rules, so I really don't think "clue" characters could be counted as none of them drove. Spiderman only drove as peter parker, and superman as clark kent, the movies, and tv show spiderman and superman had cars in them, off hand I do not recall what some of those cars were but they should be able to be looked up.
Everyone calling a different entry would be a good idea I would think, as that way we wouldn't end up with everyone sending in close to the same entries. I know I was thinking about "return to macon county" with the yellow 57 chev and black 49/50 ford, but EconoCarl might want those or at least the 57 chev because it was yellow. But there are hundreds of choices out there.
2 car or 1 car??? some movies/shows had duos, some had foes, and some could just be from two different shows also, what are thoughts on this????
Munster Koach, Monkeemobile, , was wondering if anyone had any of those, would be great to see those flying down the drag, Grandpa from munsters had a dragster kinda looked liked a casket.
JIFFY POP, I loved to watch that slowly get bigger and bigger and bigger, always wondering if it was gonna burst
As I remember, it tasted pretty good too. Haven't seen any of that in ages.
munsters and monkees from the pine tree state "will" be entered...
another pair in the movie - Hot Rod...stolen "police hemi" powered '41 willys and the rich [rootbeer] kid's muscle car...
.
also hot wheels released "rigor motor" [casket rail ]... fairly quick...
'34 Ford sedan shot full of [168] holes from Bonnie and Clyde...

oh man... how about the '32 roadster from the B or C movie - ATTACK OF THE GIANT GILLA MONSTER...
THIS MOVIE ON CBS IN 1968 WORPED ME INTO REALLY WANTING A CLIMB IN HOT ROD...I was 12...
my 1st rod was a fenderless, climb in, 289 powered 1930 ford roadster pick-up ['85]...
Ohhhh, I understand now; I thought you were referring to the cartoons themselves--now I understand, you meant cars that were actually in movies.
Well I stand corrected. Spiderman did indeed have a Spidermobile. In fact there were several versions. Surprise!!!

Seriously? So a Spiderman Oldsmobile counts???

That's not my call....
Okay I did find that Spider-Man in the "Web of Spider-Man Comics" did in fact have an Oldsmobile. I don't know if coming from a comic if this counts, Good Luck.
Uhh...sure it does! Really, though--it sounds pretty close.
I have an under 57 gram MUNSTER KOACH - [spookster] altered,
and an under 57 gram MONKEE MOBILE - [skunkee monkee] gasser.....MMMMM, remember "jiffy pop"...?
