Adventure Force Track Splice

jdensillegg Wednesday, 1/11/2023

I just updated (hopefully improved) the connectors I will be using on my track and wanted to share with this community that has been so valuable to my personal progress in this hobby over the last couple years. I recently had the realization that I don't have to screw my track connectors in. Since I'm using 3/4" plywood and 1/4" hardboard for the track base, I can use bolts, which is SOOO much easier to install on the track an then connect to the base! I'm just now starting to add diorama framing. I'll update how these look as I build out the diorama base. Links to the printable files below.

Those are very cool

are these for sale somewhere?
I see a lot of cool files listed of stuff to 3d print, but I don't own one,
and honestly am too busy to learn yet a new hobby currently.

(also don't think mrs dr will budget me enough to buy one...lol)

  • Slanman Customs does have a single piece connector with a center hole that's pretty popular. ($3 on his site) I designed mine to work as part of a modular system that I use in several places on my track (i.e. Start Gate, finish line, intersection, .etc). While I enjoy designing and printing prototypes and parts on my printer, it does take up a lot of space, and a lot of time to figure out initially. So many hobbies, so little time, lol! — jdensillegg
