For those of you that don't have FACEBOOK here is what was just posted pertaining to this event.
AMDR - AMATEUR MODIFIED DRAG RACE
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL DRIVERS PARTICIPATING .
We have a total of 22 cars from the 24 that had responded compete in this event . Tonight at some point there will be a random selection process of the 2 brackets A & B.
Being that both brackets will have 11 cars (and time constraints )we are going to have a competition BYE for each bracket and this is how it will go.
In the random selection video posted to YouTube on my channel before I even spin the wheel I will explain again the process. When the wheel is spun and the first two names pop up those two DRIVERS/TEAMS will have a competition bye and be placed in BRACKET A and BRACKET B as the 11th cars in each bracket. I then will continue to spin and the brackets will then fill one after the other A & then B back and fourth (1-10).
We then will race as normal 1vs2, 3vs4 according to there brackets with the best of three moving on.
There will be a WILD CARD spot to fill the fourth spot in the 3rd HEAT / ROUND ( both brackets). The WILD CARD will come from HEAT / ROUND 2, with the FASTEST time posted going up against the slowest time, best out of 3 (each bracket). That winner will face the remaining racer team / driver ( as there will only be 3 in each bracket), best of 3.
That even out the brackets in the 4th HEAT/ROUND to move us into the SEMI's with no issues, and then the FINAL.
