(AMDR) AMATEUR MODIFIED DRAG RACE

This tournament will be an AMATUER BUILDERS RACE, all are welcome. But if you consider yourself a "PRO" builder then you will have to build down and meet the requirements or go to you inventory of early builds and find one that fits the bill.

I am looking for the first 32 drivers, but if we fall short I will adjust the bracket accordingly and the rules.

The rules are going to be specific so please read what is asked and if you are unsure contact me here at REDLINE or on my facebook group page or main page at ROADRAGE RACING .

The track will be the #2 track that I have listed in the track profile.

IMPORTANT DATES:

11/06/2021--- CARS are due track side, or before.
11/07/2021--- Inspection of cars, weigh in, and video thoughts on each vehicle.
11/08/2021--- Random selection process, videoed.
11/09/2021 --- racing begins.

Depending on how many cars we I actually get will determine the amount of races in each video.

Things to know before entering and taking up a slot..

VEHICLES ----- CAR or TRUCK and it can not already have been used (by you the racer) in a prior event that I have held.   MUST be licensed production vehicle,Street legal that can be purchased and driven on a street in the real world. ( NO
CONCEPTS OR FANTANSY CARS, NO BAJA ETC ETC.. Contact me if you need confirmation) .

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 50g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. NO tubed axels, not cutting axels.  FTE are okay. 
• WHEELS must be black or grey and can not have any alterations to them other then sanding them to make true round. 
• NO glued axles 
• INETRIOR must still be used in car (Altering it to fit weight is ok, but interior has to be used )
• WINDOWS, if the car you chose has all plastic window you can not tint them .  Inspections must be able to see in vehicle for proper equiptment. If your car has a front and back window only you may tint only the back window. 
• Dry lube ONLY 
• Car silhouette must remain as is you may not take or add anything to the vehicle.  You can paint the car (Thats your choice) 
• Weights must remain in the vehicle

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before SATURDAY , 11/6/2021. Racing is scheduled for Tuesday, 11/9/2021. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $8.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize. Out of the USA mailing is higher . 

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Racing will be on the ROADRAGE DIECAST RACING. View track profile and specs

TRACK # 2 SPECS are listed in redline.. I tried to add a quick video of it but it was in a MOV file and wouldn't let me .   So head over to ROADRAGE RACING on FACEBOOK and I will post it there.. It goes over hieght lengthe and drop.   GOOD LUCK EVERYONE ! 

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket when they win the best out of 3 races. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

Any ties, will be RERUN!    HOST HAS CALL ON THIS! 

The FINAL / CHAMPIONSHIP will be a best out of 5 races.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are NOT given a grace on weight.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify nor race .

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
