Anyone built their tracks and racing in the SF bay area?

Hi,

I'm in the SF bay area and recently got interested in racing with diecast cars. I was a big fan in my childhood and raced with a hotwheels sets. 20+ years later I want to start this hobby again. But I don't have too much money to fully buy retail tracks. But also I live in a small 2 bed apartment (in which I can use 1 bedroom to build a small track. But no garage to actually build a lot on my own. I'd love to visit and see someone's build in-person and learn more. I'm not good with building things myself but for this hobby I want to try building something small instead of buying retails. And would also love to race my cars with anyone local if it's possible. I'm planning to just race with stock cars (I have a few to get started with) and want to build open lane race tracks (another reason not to prefer retail sets which are mostly closed lanes ones).
