Good stuff. I didn't get to put as much time into my cars as I had hoped so its nice to get that round win. Congrats to the winners. I agree someone should run an all out race for top dog. See which is better the classics or the modern era.

Congrats on the wins TE and McJ !!!!! Great photos TLD !! Haven't had the chance to look at the points or any of the sheets as yet, will do that right after I post this message.

My Car Models are
#28 = 1969 Charger
#00 = 2008 Charger

I seen there are 14 GM entries, 10 Mopar entries, and 4 Fomoco entries. So far, the Fords have dominated.
and my two mopars are dead last,

on to the next race.

Did anyone else notice that the same casting won both classes in California?

Did anyone else notice that the same casting won both classes in California?

Well, I did.

Before that I was confused by Super Birds in both the pre and post '72 classes. One Super Bird is listed as 1973 by it's owner and the others are entered in the older class. The '73 Birds existed so I guess it's legit. I assumed that was the case with the Torino as well and didn't bother to research any thing. I bet that the Torino is a bit more specific in regards to what year it is, but I'm just rolling with it man.

I would say at the earliest those are '73 Torinos maybe '74...it was a different body style before 1973.

There's an old saying around Redline Derby regarding the bending of the rules. "It doesn't really matter, until you win".
