Thanks. I found my classic today. 1962 Chevy. Not your typical racecar. Narrow track width and short wheel base but it looks so cool.
I also picked up 3 Circle Truckers as prizes for the top 3 teams. It seemed appropriate with the NASCAR theme.
I got a few minutes to work on my cars today. They are not finished but its a good start. Maybe these examples will give anyone with questions an idea of what we are going for.
Classic Entry will be a Hot Wheels 1962 Chevrolet Impala with FTE2's #88.

Super birds are my favorite muscle car. Trucks aren't legal only Grand National, Winston Cup, Nextel Cup, or Sprint Cup. NASCAR's top series. That keeps out the pony cars of Nationwide and keeps it to sedans leveling the playing field somewhat in my opinion.
Got some work done this weekend...still need to sort out weights...and some little details.

a Racing Chapions Pontiac & a Matchbox Lumina. Sorry I must retract my offer on using one of these cars. The Pontiac went to the crap side????? Don't know what gives. Ran great yesterday, Poop today! I will be running the Lumina & salvaging the wheels off the Pontiac.
