Beater Burnout Coast-to-Coast (November 17th)
The three Washington entries (Stroller, Delta and JDC) went out yesterday. Should be there by the end of the week.
AS SOON AS ALL THE ENTRIES ARRIVE IN MAINE, AND SMITTY'S ABLE TO POST A PHOTOS OF EACH BEATER, I'LL BE PRIVATE MESSAGING ALL ENTRANTS SO THEY CAN VOTE FOR THE TOP 5 BEATERS (WHICH CARS LOOK THE MOST BEATEN). CAR WITH THE MOST VOTES GETS 5 EXTRA POINTS, SECOND MOST VOTES GETS 4 EXTRA POINTS AND SO ON. THESE POINTS WILL BE ADDED TO THE POINTS SCORED IN BOTH RACES.
Jeez! That Noodlehead actually looks NICE!
It is photogenic!
Looks a lot worse in person. The underside looks like it sat in salt water or something.

Looks like something that would win the quarter-finals at the RIHWC, if you straightened that front left wheel a bit! I get the feeling my only hope is for beat points.

Check epay under "brightvision" they sell a similar tool to straighten things out.
Thanks for the epay referral. I have the flat metal tool currently offered up for sale or at least one very similiar to it somewhere around here - still digging for it. I have about a dozen Redlines MIA and a bunch of matchbox cars to find yet!
Does anyone know what the other slots and end are for on the one above - with the key ring holder? I am guessing different year axles and wheel construction...
