Blending track bumps
I have a technical question for you all. I have a few spots like this, and overall, they don't mess up the cars racing, but anytime you can make the track smoother, that make for faster cars and smoother transitions.
Is there a material, a compound, or anything I can use to blend this into a seamless track. I know I will have to make the spot longer, kind of like a ramp so the cars won't hop as much as they do currently.
What would you use, that won't slow the cars down all that much. I was going to use some shoe goo, but that is to tacky when dry for racing. Any guidance is much appreciated.
Or leave it? Trying to make things good for the racers so they want to keep building cars for my track!

I used DAP Alex Flex putty for my track. It isn't super hard, but once completely dry it isn't bad. Painting helps too.
JB Weld works great to fill in gaps on your track. Once it fully cures, you can sand it.
For fat track, I use packaging tape. For split track, I put a small amount of putty on the bottom end, say a prayer, and re-shoot the lap if the track fails.

Ask a contractor for a little zip tape and try that. Strong and pliable
I have use lots of metal tape
very "adaptive" sticks to lots of stuff,
and removes easy. I buy mine at the local Ace Hdr

First off-I have not tried this myself for such an application, but my first thought was JB weld. It goes on thick and gooey, cures rock hard and takes enough time to set that it will level itself (to a point). When cured it can be sanded to shape if you're not happy. Just my first idea. Do with it as you please.
