Apoligies for not posting anything last night. Got home from the races and had an emergency come up with my sister, was gone most of the rest of the day, and up late. All is well now.
Thanks for all the good lucks from everyone. We placed 5th. qualified 2 cars, the other one Ferrari GTO ended up 11th and we placed 5th with the White Ice series Shadow Jet. 1st place went to a Cadillac Escalade with FTE 1's. I think they had graphite on it, supposed to be no lubes, but hey, always next year, we did well for over 150 cars being there. 2nd went to a Firebird funny car, not sure what 3rd and 4th were. Talked to some of the guys quite a bit and told them about the fantasy league and the boards and our mail in races. Picked myself up a beater redline for the beater race. Some of those guys hadd some buaetiful redlines, not raced, displayed, but nice.
Races here start in about 45 minutes. A great weekend of racing for me !!!!!
Red star racing will be helping out. His b-date car is a 1984 pontiac grand prix. fovorite is a porsche 914-6.

Born year races are ran and complete, some very close races so far. Many were won or lost in the last foot, and even a few inches before the finish line. If that finish line was at 9 feet or 11 feet instead of 10 feet the results would be different on many of these races. There was passing in the straight, there was flying out of the starting gate and staying ahead, and a few that were side by side all the way down. Having a great time racing these cars.
Favorites, up next. After the favorites race I will post the results of the born races. Going to type them up in MS word so I can just cut and paste here. Then I will do the same thing for the favorites, so there will be a short break in between the results.
Wondering if the favorites will be as close as some of the born years were.
Excitement mounting, anticipation for sure.
