Born To Be Wild Challenge: (Sept. 8th Start)
Racing Finally.
Well I lucked out and had warm day so racing went well. Picture taking took forever and looked like crap.
Anyway the racing was exciting there are some surprises.
The slide show I made had "Born to be Wild running in the back ground and it was so cool. It seemed to time with each slde shown. I got stopped on uploading it by Photobucket. I would suggest you play "Born to be Wild" while you watch.
Here it is....
Race 2 of the Semis in Favorites Race took nine times to resolve.
Rallycase's VW was so fat it got stuck in the starting gate. So I started it and Everlings car in front of the using a piece of cardboard.
Nightstalker 9s 56 Chevy arrived here in pieces. I did not discover this till after the race started. I super glued the axles back in place and taped the body on so he could run. Sorry about that.
The race between FOTF and Traction Event took 5 tries. And you saw how close the Final was with Smitty.
It was close and our 84 year old neighbor lady had to come over and see what was going on.
It's been a long day. Been at this since 10 am........

@ Stroller and FOTF.
Stroller, not sure if you remember the P.M. I sent about FOTF already being paid as he had sent the money to me when he sent his cars. I said I would send it to you along with payment for Red Star and another also, $15.00 in total. Right before I went to the memorial service in Pennsylvania, I sent a box of small boxes for you to use to return cars in, there are boxes inside boxes even, along with some packing material. Also had said I was going to send prizes for you and for ClayFeat along with the payment from FOTF, and Red Stars cars, I know it is easy to forget, I do it often enough myself. If you deleted it and would like me to resend the P.M. I can, I haven't cleaned out my folders as yet. FOTF is definetly already paid and will be sent by me. I do have to return to Pennsylvania with a trailer to bring some things back, I think I had stated earlier we had a death in the family and that I would be gone to PA a short time.Stroller, did the box of boxes arrive yet, I haven't checked the tracking number.

You have nothing to apologize. I kinda remember that. My rememberer is not as sharp as it used to be... And yes the boxes in boxes did arrive ty....

I do believe, at least in the Born To Be Wild race there are a couple team names mixed up with the wrong cars in the slideshow.

I was giving the postee the chance to edit... at my heet I had to re-photo TLD vs. ? ... cause I thought the 300 was carl's out of habit ! ...kinda cool... BOTH THE WINNERS WERE CRYSLER 300s
got a loose car gift from a grateful grand dad... split the box in two, threw in some WAY 2 FAST grill / engines...
We had 2 teams that didn't get a win ........ Well they do Win !
I will ship 1 lot of these PRIZES to each of our buddies as raw material for future racing...

Slides in question~I'm going to assume that the cars in the photos are correctly placed, but the names are switched. That's how I'll assign the points.
Stroller~ I know how time consuming and brain racking putting together a Results Presentation with photos and labels can be. Trying to coordinate everything without making a small mistake here and there is NOT easy. You did great and THANKS for the effort my fellow Washingtonian!!!
