Born To Be Wild Challenge: (Sept. 8th Start)
I'm in. Just have to find something from 1954.
'53 chevy, '53 buick called ?, '55 bel-air gasser, '53/54/55 ford panel [matchbox]
I may have to bow out of this one. I wanted to enter a 1967 Olds 442 I'd made for the Factory Wars that didn't make the cut. Just weighed it and it's 62 grams (forgot the Factory Wars weight limit was very generous)
Hey JDC I bought a Honda Accord last Saturday and it's license plate is 442 AVO.
OK, Born 1955, entry #1 "56" Chevy Ice Blue W/Flames. Entry #2 A favorite of mine from way back when a friends older brother had one. A "1970" Torino Cobra
Been pokin' around with this one for a while, still not happy w/ paint, so I'm sending it out as a Mule to test a couple O things.
Heres a couple of shots to compare.

you should do a how-to on painting plastics

Sharpie Class over. lol and those wheels are FTE 1's
ditto on sharpies...but you should tell them why...sharpie vs. paint...
IMO. the ford looks better with a taller stance

I read, I think at Hot Wheel Collectors, that not Sharpies, but I think it's the Bic equivalent to Sharpie works even better than Sharpies when it comes to detailing Hot Wheels. I was gonna try for myself but could only find the multi packs of the Bics' I was looking for, then the multi-pack didn't have the color I wanted.
Great looking entrants guys. I know there will be some awesome cars.
There are still a few things unsettled in this series. There are 12 entrants as of right now, so there will be 24 cars.
What I want to know, is, do all want this as a single race, all cars raced together, or two separate classes???
Scoring will be as Econocarl suggested. This seems like the way things were done before. I know, I have seen the 1 point etc in other series, this one will be scored as he suggested.
I still need someone to help out with the scoring and keeping that up to date.
@ JDC I hope you stay in this series and race with us. If I had the 442 you needed I would mail it to you, nonetheless, I hope you stay in the series.
I hope I haven't made to big of a mess of things.
