BWF Camaro Friendly Controversy
I was thinking everyone could choose a side for my JL vs. HW event. Only stocks would be allowed, with no weight limit an no regulation on Redline wheels. Two different castings of one brand--for example, NerveHammer might enter a Firebird F/C and a Viper (both HW), and I might enter a BWF Camaro and a Spectacular Spidervan (bye-bye NHFTE). That would be fun.
And NH...yes, what about your BMW? I don't know about the other tracks, but it didn't do much at my place...
And Smitty, we usually get ours for about $30. It isn't just Johnnies who like it...it's anybody--anybody who prefers faster cars, that is. Though I guess that wouldn't include someone strictly Hot Wheels, though, would it?...
Discussion
smitty likes hot rods... never been a muscle car guy... couldn't give me a camero, firebird, superbird, thunderbird etc..
i am a stuborn old hot rod junkie... model T, model A, 1932, '33,' 34... maybe up to '40... i know... tunnel vison !
You're right! 'Bye-Bye, me'--I would say to myself, as I shot forward and away ahead of the Funny Car. Good editing!
Smitty--you, however, have not corrected me. People who like fast cars...like BWF Camaros. Unless they don't have one. I myself was a skeptic of them, when I first found the LJLRC...but I learned. I learned.
Didn't you say you raced Side Kicks?
no, i said i watched most of the johnny lightning club's kids race hot wheels side kicks... i don't like to race stuff that rattles

Ha-ha-ha...you never told me that you had a Camaro, NH! 'Cause it ain't mine. No flames (flames erupting from the engine prior to the taking of this picture don't count).
What's wrong with rattlers? My Middleweight Mustang rattles!

How about a real challenge?!!
If the BWF Camaro weighs in at 60 grams, let's have a run what you brung winner take all 60 gram race to be run at a neutral site. Maybe Brian could host it on the RLD track. Send your one car and $2 to help cover shipping all of the losing cars and the CHAMPION to the winner. IMO this race will end the debate of the BWF Camaros. Like if you agree (wait a minute, this ain't Facebook!).
To be honest, I don't know if I trust the Camaro in a pinkslip race of that scale...especially if you're including modified cars. I won't deny there are other fast cars in the world. If I won, I doubt anyone else would want to lose theirs either. Drop the 'winner takes all?' You've got a deal.

You might be suprised how many of the RDL crew would be up for the challenge!

FYI, I am not a guy in basketball clothes staring at a Camaro in the garden (we don't have a garden).

Facebook or not, I like this.
I originally thought the grudge match, would build some excitement for factory wars...not start 4 pages and a whole new thread...
I guess spell check confused "me" with " NHFTE", you use it a lot more.
