Car Culture Clash...this Fall

72_Chevy_C10 Wednesday, 7/15/2020

Hey Guys!

It's been a while since I've hosted any races, but, I'd like to get back at it. As some of the members that have been here for a while know, I used to host an event called tge Crew Chief Challenge...it was, basically, a car and it's haul rig...both of which get raced. But, since, the toy manufacturers have gotten wise to how cool haul rigs are, now there are a bunch of options out there to work with.

This thread is just to get a little feedback...if it gets some love, then I'll put up an official thread. Right now, I'm thinking that we start off with the Car Culture cars and haulers...maybe 60g for the cars and 75 for the haulers...production style axles, ftes, I'll have to come up with the length limits.

Would you be up for a race like this? Let me know in this thread if you are interested, and we'll make is happen maybe around October some time :)

It's nice to be back...See ya in lane 2

P.S. If all goes well, I might run them on my Drag Track and also on a Fat Track open track.

Glad your back!

Ide be down for sure.  I dont have any of the car culture haulers but a couple flat bed tow trucks and could likely snag a hauler if needed!  Will there be any sort of theme to the type of race car or just any car and hauler?

Matt

  • Cool...my thought, as of now, is to use the Car Culture haulers (and, maybe the M2 ramp trucks and flatbeds), and whatever car will fit in/on the hauler — 72_Chevy_C10

I would be interested in giving this a go. I would like to try and make my first fat track car to see what works and what doesn't. Can we mix and match the cars and haulers?

  • I'll probably make the rule so that you don't have to use the car that came with the hauler, but, whatever car you use, should fit in/on the hauler you are using — 72_Chevy_C10

Absolutely
