Cops and Robbers..CRIME SPREE
Like I said no one is placing blame. It was an accident. I've had plenty of those. Don't worry about it. Just re-run it all or send the cars on to Everlings. Thanks...Stroller.
If you have any additional prizes to donate please forward them to Sloppy Jalopies if you win anything then your prizes will be returned with your race cars.........Stroller. You could send 50 cents or so for each car to help with mailing back from Smitty..............

If you didn't host a race send $5 to the last host if you want your cars returned. Hosts cars are returned free. This has been the policy for a while.

Okay that sounds fair.
Sometimes even I forget that we are racing toy cars...and end up taking things too seriously. Mistakes are made, ....I agree move on and lessons learned.

I agree with the others.
Hopefully the lesson learned here by all future hosts is to open the box and check them out when they arrive.
If they arrive on Wednesday don't wait until Sunday to try to figure things out.
Like the decal says, "Toy cars, serious racing!"
I'm fine with throwing this one out. Crossin' my fingers that the Bandit won't have to face the Get A Way 2 Fast in the first round a third time
And on that note, if we're not doing double elimination, it would be nice if the hosts could attempt to arrange different first round match ups as we've tried to do in the past.
spit-balling ;
as a past host I think we need make the pairings easier for the hosts... hosting is plenty of work... #s from a hat, only to have the same cars paired off will continue...and is work...
any of you guys with computer skill,
print up say 10 "random pairing brackets" [from that type site] with the # of cars our next series will showcase...
include the sheets with the cars...the 4 or 5 hosts choose a bracket from the sheet pool...
we could preview the bracket sheets, pick out the sheets that pair-up the same cars...
I don't have the skill, or I would have done it...
Yes, Smitty mentioned that in the past...printing up all the match ups before the series starts and send them along in the box with the cars. That's a good idea...but a little bit more thinking then my brain can handle.
On second thought it might be very easy. Say there are 16 cars. First race
1 vs 16
2 vs 15
3 vs 14
4 vs 13
5 vs 12
6 vs 11
7 vs 10
8 vs 9
Second race. Move every body on the right side up one.
1 vs. 15
2 vs. 14
3 vs 13
4 vs 12
5 vs 11
6 vs 10
7 vs 9
8 vs 16
Third race move everybody on the right up one
1 vs 14
2 vs 13
3 vs 12
ect, ect....what do you think?
Batman seemed to be running out of gas--he traveled very jerkily down the track, as apparently one or more of his wheels were sticking.
Bummer, I think the Batmobile would have really shined on the bigger/longer tracks. Well, that's racing.
Very Good Idea TLD And smitty
I had the same idea TLD but didn't quite grasp how to pull it off.......

Sure does, Hey, Sh*t happins' I have yet to have a perfect race as host. We 're lucky the Guys (and Gals) are paying attention to whats going down. I like the idea that someone is lookin' over my shoulder. It makes me a better RaceHost in the long run................OK, nuff said, lets race!
