Coroplast or another track?
I've begun the process of building my first track. I would ideally like an open track. I see some open tracks made with coroplast, how are these tracks being held together piece to piece? Also how are the curves and turns made using this?
I see slanman as an option but being my first track ideally I use something I can continually mess up and change.
what are some other options for someone like me? Thanks guys!!

The 4'x8' of plastic wall panel runs about $25 or so from lowes... it is easily cut with scissors. It is the stuff used by GTR (and maybe others?) to do their tracks... I have a couple of sheets I am working with. You can cut to practically any shape but you need a backing substrate to glue it down to... I have tried the FRP sheet with the pebble texture and do not recommend it for the surface the car runs on, but the back of it runs pretty well... much stiffer and harder to work with...
I used some coroplast along with the poly wall that Stoopid fish mentioned above. I just glued it down on top of the next piece of track and used DAP Alex Flex putty to smooth out the joint. Not ideal, but it works.
