Crew Chief Challenge - Pick-Ups hauling Hot Rods
I'm amazed at the turn-out...thank you, Everybody, for taking the time to get these teams together. I can't wait to see them rumbling down the track!
I've made a few little tweaks to the prize car this week...to get the engine sitting right...
And to get interior in it well...
I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the cars!

With a heavy heart we are gathered here today, to pay our last respects to our fallen friends,
They died how they lived, fast and hard ... may they take up a prominant place in the family hot wheels junkyard diorama ...
They are survived by a flat black t bucket, a red altered state and a red, one stack, six banger c10...
The living seem to roll ok, but may be emotionally damaged after the crash... the worst I have ever seen, I had to blow deep breaths into a brown paper bag !
... They will not be entered into the win to get in "hat" ... they have already earned their way in !

I'm not sure I could do damage like that even if I tried....??? Priority mail comes with $50 insurance...time to make a claim. keep the photos.

Geez, I have never seen a package damaged that bad, looks as if a crusher got them. Sorry about that happening to you FM. I have an existing hot wheels diorama of a junkyard, from some playset, still in it's original casting color of gray, you could paint it the colors you wanted, if you would like it let me know and I will mail it you.

The two teams that came along with mine, ( I realized today I did not put the info in with the cars ) DUH!
The two teams with mine are B&G Racing, (red C cab Ford, and a black J/L 32 ford coupe).
The other is Cortez Racing, ( an orange dodge 1500, and a black 29 Ford sedan).
The team names should be on the bottoms of the entries, and they also have colored dots on them to help keep them together. Mine have green dots, don't really remember the other two teams dots. Hope they all made it okay.

I remember middleweights II getting lost for about a week or so...but those came back in fair shape. Truly a bummer. Thanks all for stepping up and helping out with rental units.
