Like model40fan said, we tend to stay away from any wet lubricant. While they might work well in the short term, they will eventually accumulate dust & dirt and slow the car down.

I've used WD-40, but....I also used "can air" to blow off any excess and make sure there isn't a build up on the car for the very reasons stated above. My wife is a diabetic, so I've used some of her needles to inject the axles with just the right amount, so it doesn't go squirting all over the place. Just a note, it doesn't always work and make your cars faster...kinda hit and miss. Just my humble opinion
