Diecast Euro Cup 2022 FULL ROSTER

The "Diecast Euro Cup" continues!

Each of the 3 remaining series features a respective car make with a limited field for each due to a cross-country move this summer and thus, time constraints come with it. Ferrari is complete with Golden Owl taking the win!

This signup is the full roster for the 3 remaining series and will take the event into the summer with a grand champion race between the winner of each series. We will be taking a break for a week bewtween each series in order to prepare our move and run our Batmobile one-off events. Please note anyone who wants their cars returned will need to wait for them as a set to ship out togther this summer when the tournament wraps up. If you're only in one event, your car will return much sooner.

The fourth and final series is McLaren and Lotus. Please make sure to note whether you are entering a car for McLaren OR Lotus. Choose one. Each driver to sign up should be sending three cars max if you're entering all 3 series, with exception to the drivers who have already sent cars for these events when they signed up for the Ferrari series. The field for each remaining series is nearly full because these drivers committed or sent cars when they signed up for the Ferrari event.

ADDED RULES & RESTRICTIONS
* 70g maximum weight
* Modified entries only.
* 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
* Retail axles and wheels only. NO Tubes. FTE/NPA allowed.
* Dry lube only
* Black plastic wheels only.
* No fantasy wheels.
* All weight must be concealed in the body of the car.
* No moving parts unless they are stock and glued shut.
* All cars require custom paint and a unique number visible on the doors.
* No controversial images, words or symbols on the car. No nude images.
* No stretching the car.
* If your car is a convertible, you must add a detailed driver figure.
* Please include a race entry ID slip.

Dates & deadlines:
All entries must be received for all 3 series by the host on or before Friday, 3/11/2022. Porsche series is scheduled for Friday, 3/25/2022. The others will follow. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host. Cars arriving late will not race.

ENTRY NOTES:
Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.
Include at least $8.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back and be sure to contact me and pay for the return. We will not chase you down to return cars. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Race format and scoring

Race format and scoring
In each series, 16 cars are split into 4 car group rounds. 2 cars advance per group. Cars will rotate lanes between all 4 positions in each race.??The car that wins the final race of 4 cars will be declared the winner based upon points. Race host has final decision in all races. Points are earned per lap based upon finish position: 5/3/2/1 and 0 for DNF. A four car DNF lap will be reset. Points are not cumulative between rounds or the series. All points reset for each round of the tournament.??
Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.??
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions the car will not qualify to race.
If your car does not make it here in time for the race, a standby list driver will take your spot in the tournament.?? Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches if it cannot be minimally repaired. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired if possible.

Prizes

The winner for each series in the Diecast Euro Cup will have their name on a billboard set within the diorama on the track and receive a trophy and prize pack of cars. The winner of the DEC grand championship will have their own billboard, prize package of cars, a trophy. ...And of course the bragging rights!
