Does anyone recognize this casting?

All it says on the bottom is Made in China" like THAT narrows it down....

How big is it? Needs banana for scale
Google Lens backs up what the good Doctor says about this piece being made specifically for the tourist trade, as it is lacking a distinct manufacturer name on the base stamping to perhaps avoid licencing issues for the venerable AEC Routemaster bus
- yup, but ultimately, whats it weigh, and do HW wheels fit? — dr_dodge
- I'd race it...lol — dr_dodge
- Mattel needs to get on producing Egg Shen's tourist bus from "Big Trouble In Little China." Jason @ Jungle Falls put on a wonderful show with Busses & Trains — Chris_Hood
That looks like the bus that was om Junkyard Joust. I have no idea on a manufacturer.
- Stacked to the gills with tire weights so it weighs 300 grams. That thing is a beast! — HSLmotorsports
- Yeah. Too bad I'm not a Crimson Crashers fan! — ManiacMotorsports
- I believe that this one has smaller wheels though — ManiacMotorsports
Souvenir shop in London. The wheels are one of the many varieties used by the Summer Metal Corporation, out of China of course. They made a large portion of the cheap generic cars between the late 70s and the early 2000s. They used several different brand names.
Personally, I'd just go ahead and drill it, replace the wheels, use it for an "anything goes" drag racer sometime.Because of the casting being so tall, that's a high center of gravity, so road courses are out of the question.
Thanks everyone for your input, the wife has laid claim to it, so it is now resting on her tea table.
THAT looks like the one I got at Disneyland when I was like 10! (1970) But all I remember is it was a red double decker bus. Wish I still had it LoL
My Guess,
a gift shop casting
look at the side,
probably for tourists
How's it roll?
