Downhill Diecast Drags
2 weeks left to build & ship, deadline is 2/17
You have about 2 weeks to get your cars built and shipped because the deadline for mail-in entries is 2/17. Don't wait too long!
That 2/17 deadline is going to be pretty firm because that whole week leading up to Triplemania is going to be busy, busy for me prepping for the races and getting a Redline Derby booth ready. I need to have cars inspected and tagged so things run smoothly come Saturday.
- Im trying to put together something worthy. Not sure if I have what it takes to be of any help but Im gonna try. — Mattman213
The Legion will be ready
So...I can race two(2) Mods in this race..per team.
- Per team? Each person can enter 2 cars max. 2 in same class, or 1 in each class. — redlinederby
This might help too...explains how many cars you should send in.

Last week to build!
This is your last week to build your entries and get them shipped. I'll be doing pickups everyday until the deadline next Monday, 2/17.
Can't wait to see the line-up. Good luck!
Less than 2 weeks out!!!
Due to the post office holdiay on Monday 2/17, the deadline has been extended to Wednesday 2/19. The last pickup will be late afternoon. But even with an extra day, your cars should probably get into the mail this weekend if they're not on their way already.
There will be no pickup on Thursday or Friday. I need those days to tag all the cars and prep for racing. Any cars that arrive after the cutoff will be returned over the following week along with all other entries.
Here's a link to the Qualifying Round times for both stock and modified classes. These times were only used to get the Top 64 cars from each class and also determine seeding order for the bracket.

The brackets were only win/loss races and times were not logged.
The guys at Autobody Specialists posted a great video covering the Downhill Diecast Drags day on their Facebook page. Give it a look if you want a nice recap of the event and the racing. There are also other recent posts with tons of photos too...check them all out.
I still have video from the Ohio Diecast Drags and Battle of the Builders on my phone but it's not very good and I don't have any names or match-ups or anything documented. If interested, I can still put something together with some music and upload it.
I just received my 2nd place trophy, and I know you all have seen the pics...but I gotta say they are truly badass in person. A huge Thank you to Autobody Specialists, Redline derby, and all the other sponsors. Congratulations to Matt on the 1st, and 3rd place finishes. Also Congratulations to RLD (Brian) for a successful weekend of racing.
Needed to adjust a few things... Pulled this from the RLDRL series.Tthis car will be my entry for this race.
