Expert Drag Track tournament

After reading the brief review of the Expert Drag Track here in the forum, I contacted the maker and struck a deal to get a track for review. But in addition to just doing a review for the blog, I think I'm going to do a special between-the-seasons tournament using the Expert Drag Track.

It'll be a good chance to put the track through its paces for the review and give everyone else a good look at the product. The track should arrive within the next couple weeks so look forward for that special one-off tournament probably next month.

If nothing else, that tournament should tide us over until the next season starts in March or later.

More details soon...

Cool. I cant wait to see how your races turn out versus my own.

On a slightly related topic. We had an accident this week. My son was straddling the track to make a bridge and at the last minute decided to move and ended up falling on the ramp braking the pieces of track attached to it. I found it to be a perfect opportunity to order a new track pack to extend the length to a full 1/4 miles scale track. The extra length should make it more interesting.

I received my Expert Drag track yesterday and after an initial setup, I'm really impressed, honestly. But with the track in my hands now, I can tell you for sure we will have an off-season tournament using this track. Should be fun.

Cool Brian, let us know how it works out.

I'm pulling my track out this weekend for some in-house racing and testing. Hopefully have time for some custom builds as the wife will be out of town.

Just an update that the Expert Drag Track tournament will be next month. The guy over at Expert Toys has offered a great prize for the winner, so it should be a fun time. Once I have a few more details nailed down I'll add the date to the League schedule.

This will be an off-season tournament with one-time points, similar to the charity race from last off-season.

I'm stoked....just gotta say. More soon.

I cant wait.

My track is now 20.25' long with a short drop using only one length of track to simulate a longer track. Its not quite a 1/64 scale Quarter mile but its as close as I could get it. I'll start working on the vehicle return system soon. I have an interesting idea.
