FEATHERWEIGHT CHALLENGE Series-II?

Got a PM from a racer that brought up some good points, so the rule regarding chassis (or bases) has been eliminated. To encourage more 'customs' in the series it makes since to allow like chassis on creations.

There are two classes I think because the FTE's were dominant in the first series. What if somebody wanted to enter a non FTE car in the FTE class?

Good question, and if non-FTEs were allowed in the FTE class that might get confusing to the hosts too trying to figure out which non-FTE cars go in the FTE class.

keep someone from entering 4 Chrysler 300s or 4 Lotuses.

Yes, it's early, but should there be some rule (in the future) for not entering previous winners. I'm not going to do it, but who wants to see 8 Chysler 300's running in the next race? It was already a little weird with the two identical Lotuses.

That was just a fluke thing. It'll happen from time to time. When I run the convention races you'd be amazed at the number of Ferrari F-40s on the track.

I don't see an issue with two like cars competing in the same series. None of these cars come out of the factory running the exact same way as it is. Jim made that point earlier when talking about owning the two Demons, one killing the series- the other a dog.

I'm a bit confused here as well. Why would anyone want to enter a non-FTE into the FTE class? Unless the rules are as Jobe mentioned, I don't see why that would be allowed... If its not an FTE, it shouldn't be part of the FTE class.

Any car with FTE wheels is a "FTE car".
Cars without FTE wheels are not FTE cars.
Each entrant needs to enter 2 of each BEFORE the deadline (in order to maintain bracket integrity - whatever that means )
