yeh, but you did it, not some malaisian factory... edited for clarity...

Not that there's anything wrong with Malaysians.

I've got the same story.

I seem to recall a super quick TLD entry in the last Feathweight challenge which was pure custom... was some sort of astro funk indy car fusion and it was awesome.

Well, now that you mention it, there was a custom that cracked the top 10 last Featherweight Series.

Question. Are we allowed to send in 3 non-FTEs and 1 FTE? Or does it have to be 2 of each? I only ask because I don't think i'll have a second FTE ready in time but i'll have 3 non-FTEs.

That's one Wicked-looking FTE mod Jim!

Thanks!

There was discussion about that and the Commish put the hammer down and said two of each.

Just throw some paint on one of your fast FTEs or send it stock.

Anyone know what FTE wheels would fit on a Retroactive? I have one cut up and painted already... just need wheels for it. I don't think any of the mainline wheels will fit... Maybe the GTX-1? I dunno...

That's a tough one, because the Retro has very large rear wheels and a fairly wide wheel base. The only rear wheels that I know of that are that big and possibly have a wide enough wheel base is the Stockar FTE. The Carbonator and Straight Pipes have the large rear wheels, but their wheel base is a bit too narrow. Go with the Stockar if you have one.

The Impala stocker?

Those are pretty wide but don't have the big wheels.

SOmetimes the lenght of the axel is longer than it needs to be on some of the FTE cars. Usually the rear wheels. You can double check the ones you have. There might be a long one.

I think he's talking about this 2005 Stockar FTE:
