Nice fleet WorpeX. I'm thinking that the long wheelbased Retroactive should do well, especially with those FTEs.

We'll see! The Fact 4 was faster on my track by a smidgen, but i'm thinking the Retroactive will do better on the longer tracks!

Thanks for the comments guys! Can't wait to get this series started!

Go WorpeX, looking good

I think a RetroActive finished in the top 10 of the first Featherweight Series. It may have been the only non-FTE car in the top 10. An FTE version could mean trouble.

How are you affixing the axles? If your using JB Weld and it's a plastic base it could just be coming un-stuck from the base.

The axles just sit on top of the base and are held in place by slots on the bottom of the interior. Since they weren't fastened to begin with, I just put it back together the way it was. I suppose I could have dabbed some JB Weld on the axles before I put it back together, so they would stay down on the base. I won't have time to fix the problem before the deadline, so perhaps it will be a FW 3 entry.

go worpex go...
... as far as what cars should do well... cars cut-up can be disapointing.... i have a box of "bet that'll be fast cars" ....
. .see you in series two !

Yes, I think I'm still around 1 in 4 of my customs do better. If I'm lucky. For the Featherweights II there was lots of fun and high hopes putting them together, and lots of disappointment when they got on to the test track.

This is why I think the Chevelle Cup will be so interesting. Everyone will be modifying, so it's "who can build the fastest 'slow' car"

Got my cars in the mail on Sat. Should be there by Tues. here's a tracking number just in case:

So I got to the UPS store after work, got into the building with my cars nicely packaged, went to look up the address on my phone and then saw that it was a P.O box....

Sadly, I can't ship to a P.O box address during the week, can only do it saturday morning. There is absolutely no way that I can make this deadline unless TLD provides a second address that I can use to ship via UPS. Sorry guys. : /
