Featherweight Challenge
like cars can be 2-3 grams different....these are toys
I'm in.I posted in the other thread. To get more people involved, it might be helpful if there was a list or chart of stock 34g and under somewhere. If I find my scale, maybe we, the group, could help compile a list somewhere here?
Right here on Redline Derby there is a list of all of the cars in the fantasy league complete with their weight:

Excellent!
I'm in. Do we have a date/track yet?
i dig the lighter cars... they race well on my e.r. track... but most of the racers here are running on orange track... to be fair lets race these lightweights on orange track... tracks hosts to the front...
..... under 35 g's is cool ?
I LIKE THE MULTI CAR TEAMS SET UP ; [H.D.S.], [GRAVITY W] ,NOT SHURE HOW FANTASY DOES IT,....
. SO THAT [ 1 ] GOOD CAR CAN'T DOMINATE...
... 1.HOW MANY TEAM CARS ? [2-3-4 ]...
... 2. THEY OUGHT TO BE DIFFERENT CARS... Y/ N ..
... 3. IF YOU WANT TO SWAP MULTIPLE BODIES ONTO THAT SAME BASE....EXAMPLE; - FERRARI 458,... Y / N ...
....4. WEIGHT LIMIT ; _ _ _ 30 GRAMS, OR _ _ _ 35 GRAMS
.... I'M A REALITIVE NEW GUY HERE... I WOULD LIKE THE RULES TO BE AS FAIR TO ALL AS IS REASONABLY POSSIBLE...
.... MAYBE IF ALL INTERESTED, P.M. A LIST OF THE RULES YOU WANT, AND I'LL TAKE AN AVERAGE... model40fan
Smitty, I like the idea of getting input from others but remember to be patient. Most of the members here don't stay on the site all of the time like you and I do!
My thoughts on rules:
I like the 30g limit, but if more people will become involed with a 34g limit that's fine too. The main objective should be to get more entrants.
Your idea of no two bodies alike per team is a good one, we get to see a bigger variety of cars.
As for the number of entrants allowed per team, there may be more participation (especially from the newer members) if it was limited to two. I'm still a relatively newbie here but I'll build as many cars as it takes!
That's my 2 and a HALF cents worth!!!
TO QUOTE BARTELLS AND JAMES ; THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT !
Well, just from a quick look at the list of cars and their weights here at Redline. There's only about 30 cars at 30 gms or less, and I'm not sure how readily available most of those are. If you looking to include as many people as possible it maybe easier for a "newbie" to find/have more stock cars available at 34 gms or less.
Multiple car teams sounds cool even if it's just two. That seems to make it easy for people. Although of course one car would make it easiest of all.
THEY OUGHT TO BE DIFFERENT CARS... Y/ NYes.
I assume stock cars are eligible?
maybe some of the new guys may want to team up [1] car each, kinda like fantasy teams...
...also, stockers can race anywhere ! ... your car has gotta be special to race in altered / modded races... cut 'em up...
.. you don't always have to win... just looking cool is a win in itself...
If you want as many people as possible to participate, you may want to have a stock and a modified class. Although I suppose it's not that hard to drill some holes in a Ferrari. It may come down to whoever drill the correct number of holes in the optimum places.
I'm in.
