Featherweight Challenge
It may come down to whoever drill the correct number of holes in the optimum places.
Tastelikedirt, I mean this in the best of ways:
Remember, this ain't "rocket math", just a few adults that still play with cars!
Grab a drill and come play!
Remember, this ain't "rocket math"
Ha! Yes, I was joking about where and how many holes to drill. When your talking about something that fits in the palm of your hand...
joking ? i often drill holes in the metal base to make my weight class... sometimes they whistle...
Excellent!
T.L.D. HAS THAT RITE !
JUST CHECKED OUT THE FANTASY WEIGHT WATCHERS LIST... THAT IS A LIST... IT APPEARS THAT 35 GRAMS IS GOING TO BE OK... LOTS OF CARS THAT ARE CLOSE...JUST A SNIP, SHAVE, DRILL, FILE, GUT THE SECTION OF INTERIOR YOU DON'T NEED, AND HOP ON THE SCALE !
Smitty has built himself quite a fleet of Featherweights.
Last week he hosted his own personal featherweight challenge.
Special thanks to tastelikedirt for the graphics work!

Where do I send them?
Details are being worked out and I'll post them on the "Who wants to race" thread soon.
This thread got a little long winded so the "WHO WANTS TO RACE" thread was started.
I know the titles are confusing, but IT happens!
For updates please go to the new thread which is located here:

THANKS!
For those of you still scouting 'lightweight cars', check out the latest video from DCR...
The new '1985 IROC-Z' weighs in @ only 30g and pulled out a very respectable time on the DCR downhill coarse. It lost to a 46g JL Mustang...barely.

i am new to this mail -in racing,
... how many is many ?
... i count about 15 guys that post on a regular basis... quick response from [6]...thank you...
... my fear is if it is too easy, not just the "few", but a "bunch" of racers may want to send [ ? ] STOCK CARS...
... is quantity the goal ? ....i don't care, for or against, i just want to race altered hot wheels,.... do the stockers want to race against the "few" ?... do they need a class ?
...how many cars are a comfortable quantity for potential track hosts ?... maine h.w. racing is no where near as BIG as texas, in '09 in our league, 50 cars, 12 to 15 racers was a good nite...
.. so, join the six, let me know what "you" want.....
