Fords Fords Fords: Old School / New School
while I was out the "diecast nasties" musta got to the maverick, they chewed a big hole in the hood...they even nawed around both rear wheel wells...i'll file and fill the hole with BONE SHAKER'S induction, and the wheel wells with FTEs...
under 57 grams... post '70 NEW SCHOOL entry ;
pre-'70 OLD SCHOOL entry... hmmm, 1903 to 1970 ford ?
1928 / '29 Ford MODEL A sedan delivery altered...if stroller gives it the ok...
will this double elimination series be run as 1 class as all cars will be in the same weight class ?
.
is an A-OK sedan delivery ['28/'29 MODEL A ford] body on a single engine "way 2 win, 'er...fast " base ok as an old schooler ?
.
just opened up an fte "way 2 fast"... yuk ! ...1 good wheel, can't use either axle for racing...at least I can use the engines and base later...
front of the class TE, only misses were "bad ratitude's" nose..."stocker's" FTEs...
Count me in on this one, plenty of time to do some builds. Cool idea !!
I see that the Cobra's count, what about the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe ??? I also see no trucks, does that include sedan deliverys and panels? Hate to have all the questions, just want to know my build options, what about station wagons, vans, dragsters and other race cars, (nascar type, etc.)
I'm thinking your aiming for street type cars only?
Sorry for all the questions.
I'll also talk to Tanner, (Red Star), and see if he would like to enter. He has a handle on the Fantasy League, if he is going to run here a lot he needs to get his own handle going.
as far as fords are concerned,
a sedan delivery is built with a sedan chassis and nose, with 1 rear door, wooden inner structure bolted to a metal frame.. a panel truck is built with a truck chassis and nose, with 2 rear doors, all steel construction...
a station wagon is built on a sedan chassis, wooden body [woody]...
the sedan delivery, panel and station wagon have almost the same nose in the Model T era, 1928 to early 1931 Model As and 1940 only...delivery and wagon use the same front doors... panels no...

Well it is definitely a Ford...I would say it's in for being recognizable.....it's almost a rail dragster but not quite....imho
i'm not a teenager trying to push the boundries... I can build another car... yes or no... is no problem here...
yup, modeling clay..also good for packing weight where you need it.
Smitty, like where you're headed with the Maverick!
