- In theory, if all things were equal and blah blah motors remained the same in temperature and brush wear remained constant: Sorry, in theory you could hook up an multimeter/ammeter and be able to see that faster cars would require less amperage than slower cars. Or as a car broke in over time the amp draw would also reduce. — X2Whiskey

you can remove the counterweight, (they sell them w/o vibra weight)
4mm x 17mm, pretty small, short duty cycle
and does the drive band drag on the bottom of the casting causing the chatter on the dyno?

I finally got mine earlier this week, after ordering it on 3rd June!
Well, after all this time I have found this thing to be marginally useful. The speed has zero adjustability the potentiometer is little more than an on/off switch... the wheels seldom engage properly on the front and rear simultaneously and the rollers are frequently slipping on the belts.
I am not impressed. I will be trying to play with it a bit more but after a few months, I'd say if you haven't bought one don't waste your money...

- I agree totally, only time I use it is if I’m batch lubing a bunch of cars I’ll do a brief run-in on each car. — AbbyNormal
- I get some slipping back and forth, too. You might be able to tighten down the screws on the bottom to prevent this, or as a last resort, put something between the rollers to keep them from inching together. — SpyDude
I use it to run in the wheel/axles after each treatment, 15 minutes each direction. This pic is at the end of one run, with no significant heat buildup in wheels or axles.

EXCITING! Hopefully mine shows up next week.
