Hot Wheels Super 6 Lane modifications
So I just got my super 6 and I'm wondering if anyone has been able to modify the start gate to be automated (servo) and lengthened so that 2 rows of cars can set up.
I see the fairly obvious solution is to cut the end wall and fasten orange track.
This may be stupid but I don't want to ruin it before I even get a chance to run a full tournament on it.

I do not have a 6 lane, but I watch a whole lot of videos using them. Lots of people have extensions on the start. Most just look like a piece of orange track attached out the back.
Just got mine yesterday, already looking to do just that. I'm thinking of cutting the back wall out and making a platform to hold two more rows. And the gate starter will probably have to be cut off and a release trigger made under it somehow
- The Starting handle is held in with a pin you can just push out. No cutting required. And I put a tiny eye hook in the bottom of the part that pulls down. Tie a string to it and you're good to go. — Peter_Bee
- That is great to know, thanks. I need some tables before I get my setup done but excited about it — Mayfield41

As far as the remote start, the tried and true method on the 6-Lane is a string attached to the bottom of the gate.
As for the starting line...maybe a small ramp that rest on the back wall? Kind of the same effect as adding track without having to cut the original.
Take care and see ya at the races!
