how do you move a post?

Likely only a mod or admin that can do it. I've modded a few forums and regular posters can't usually do it.

Submit a request is probably your best bet.

If its simply one post in the wrong thread, then just cut and paste it into the right one, then edit the old one to say "sorry wrong thread" or something.

the non-computeresque might try edit, then click the delete box, then click yes.... retype in the correct topic

I'm the only one that can move a post. If you caught your own error, just PM me and I'll move it. Otherwise, I will typically move posts as I find them in the wrong spot.
