How to determine wheel type?

Finkle_and_Sons Wednesday, 7/29/2015

Hi.

New to the hobby.  I see that some races have restrictions on what type of wheels are allowed.

My question is, how do I know what type of wheels I have?  If I am buying ones still in the blister packs that is one thing, but what about thrift store finds?  Don't want to accidentally get disqualified.

The FTE wheels are usually labeled on the blister...but also they have distinctive hub caps.
